SWEEP-Net, which serves as the IPLA Sub-Regional Secretariat for Mashreq and Maghreb Countries, organized its third Regional Forum on “New Opportunities for Employment, Social Equity and Sustainable Development in the MENA Region” from 14 to 16 May 2013, in Cairo, Egypt. One session was dedicated to a theme - “Local Strategies towards Zero Waste” – to share case studies and best practices on zero waste approaches.
