Outline

The training is expected to help ENNDA and other stakeholders in the preparation of a regional development plan for the basin, by building on and utilizing the existing data and information gathered during the first phase of our technical support programme, to formulate an effective regional development policy and strategy.

Objectives

To sensitize stakeholders, community leaders and potential partners on regional approaches to river basin development planning and plan formulation;

To train regional planners and development managers on regional problem analysis, and data needs for river basin development planning;

To train ENNDA planners on the methods of data collection and analysis for preparation of a regional plan; and

To train regional planners and development managers on preparation of a regional development plan for the river basin.
