Objectives

The broad objective of the in-house workshop is to examine and review the data and information collected by the provincial and district planners to prepare a draft regional development plan and formulate appropriate strategies. The specific objectives of the workshop are:

To review and discuss data and information collected by the provincial and district planners to fill the gaps identified during the previous workshop;

To conduct preliminary data analysis and projection of the draft regional development plan;

To review and discuss the specific concerns of local government and divisional development officials; and

To visit unique data collection sites and projects and come up with possible data collection strategies.
