The overall objective of the workshop is to train participants in regional development strategies and programmes and formulation of a regional plan matrix. The specific objectives are to train planners and development managers in:
  • Formulation of effective regional development strategies and programme integration;

  • Methodologies and techniques of regional plan implementation and matrix formulation; and

  • Prioritization of projects and preparation of an integrated regional development plan.
