Dr. Anupam Khajuria, Researcher of UNCRD participated and delivered a presentation in the 15th International Conference on Waste Management and Technology. This conference was organized by Basel Convention Regional Centre (BCRC) for Asia and the Pacific and UNCRD contributed as a supporting organizer in this conference among others. She delivered a presentation on the topic of "Towards zero waste society through circular economy and resource management Implication for SDGs".
She organized a Special Session on "Special Session on International Partnership for Expanding Waste Management Services of Local Authorities (IPLA) - a SDG Partnership" supported by Basel Convention Regional Centre for Asia and the Pacific. More than 110 experts, scholars and participants from P.R. China, Japan, Germany, the United States and other countries were invited to attend the forum.
