UNCRD provides a wealth of information and publications on local and regional development in developed, developing, and transitional economies. Its publications inform scholars, policymakers, and practitioners of the results of its research, training, and supportive programmes.
UNCRD publishes three categories of publications:

UNCRD Publications on the Web
UNCRD has published conference papers, meeting reports, books, training materials, journals, country studies, and bibliographies. The Web-based Bibliography and Index of UNCRD Publications Web site, a project undertaken by Christopher C. Brown, Reference Librarian at the University of Denver, Colorado, USA was designed to provide full on-line access to this store of publications. An estimated 1,800 works are indexed and cross-referenced at http://www.virtualref.com/uncrd/ . The index provides numerous ways to browse UNCRD materials; by author (meaning author, editor, guest editor, etc.), subject, series, and classification.
