UNCRD does not hire internationally recruited staff (Professional and higher categories) directly. Official recruitment, job offers, and employment are conducted through the UN Galaxy System. All other offers, questionnaires or related employment requests are from other sources and not authorized by the UN.

As for the recruitment of local staff (General Services and SSA contract personnel) at Nagoya and Hyogo Offices, vacancy announcement is advertised only on our website (and local newspapers).

As for Africa (Nairobi) and LAC (Bogota) Offices, vacancy information of local staff is posted only on websites of UNDP country offices respectively in Kenya and Colombia (and local newspapers).

Please note that:
  • UNCRD does not charge a fee at any stage of its recruitment process (application, interview, processing, training or other fee).
  • UNCRD does not request any information related to bank accounts or other private information.
